This place has an old-school vibe from the 90s, both in its appearance and interior. The staff are really friendly and full of energy. Soondae guk is mainly made with pork intestines, so some people might not like the smell or texture. But here, they seem to prepare the ingredients well, and the broth is very clean. The owner seems hardworking and reliable.

I didn’t know what Soondae was until I researched this place. Was in the mood for old world Korean comfort food and this was recommended online. Popped in after my sauna session and ordered the Soondae soup. A huge amount of food for the price and the servers were all incredibly kind and welcoming. Loved the kimchi options, the spicy peanut sauce, and the soup itself was robust and supremely comforting. Def recommend this spot!

Excellent Soondae and at great value for the combo. Small was enough for two of us. Note: They don't serve alcohol.

Tucked in the inner corner of the plaza. The staff was super friendly and the place was really cozy. They play SBS variety shows on the TV. Ordered the kimchi stew and it was lovely!

Really good food! Staff is very nice. Best blood sausages I ever had. Recommend to get the combo, because the soup is very tasty, too! So yummy!

대박 강추입니다. This is a wow place. I have been to many 순대 places out of Korea, including Canada, Australia, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, etc, but this is the best out of Korea.

I always get the soup or combo with soup. This where I go to recover after a good night. I’m taken care of and every bite and hearty healthy and blasts any hangover I have away.

I live near this gem, and I regret that I am just now trying it. My partner and I got the spicy goat soup and the sundae soup and both were stellar. Definitely on my shortlist if not my overall favorite Ktown Korean restaurant. The wait staff and the owners were extremely patient and accommodating to us, who had clearly little idea what we were ordering. Can't wait to go back.

Delicious and authentic soondae and other Korean dishes with large portion. Server lady was super friendly and made sure that we had enough side dishes! Pretty rare to get this type of customer service in an Asian restaurant and we ended up tipping more than we should have but I don’t regret it! I wish I could eat their soondae everyday!

Eight Street Soondae not only met but exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Soondae soup served with kimchi, radish, rice, salad, and spicy sauce. As a Mexican and food explorer I will say this dish is definitely an experience and it was worth every bite. To my fellow Mexicans, If I could compare it to anything, I would compare it to Menudo with a twist. I'll give it a 9/10 the only reason I am not giving it a 10 is because I personally felt like I needed more spice in my soup. The restaurant is immaculate! From the floors, to the walls, to the glass, literally everything is so clean and I appreciate that so much. The staff is welcoming they made my sister and I feel so comfortable and appreciated for our business. We can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious foods
